1935 Light 20 for Sale

Steve Gallichan spotted this car advertised as a 1935 Standard R16, but what we think would really be a Light 20 for sale on Pre-War car.

Steve says ‘I was offered this car several years ago by it's current vendor the well know car dealer Hans Compter in New Zealand. Phil Homer had featured it on this site before.

It had since gone to ground but now is for sale, all be it at a high price in my opinion though the advertisment says the price includes shipping and import tax.

This car really needs saving before the engine and gearbox and running gear go to make another SS replica!’

Phil Homer says ‘I agree, this could easily be snapped up by an SS owner, as so many have in the past and destroyed just for the engine and running gear’.
