About our Club

Our Club caters for enthusiasts and owners of products of the Standard Motor Company of Canley, Coventry, England, which were built from 1903 to 1963.

As a multinational company, cars were produced and sold in most of the world's markets.

The Standard Motor Company bought the Triumph car company in 1945 and all post-war Triumph cars were designed and made by the Standard Motor Company in Standard factories.

Whilst many are familiar with Triumph cars, the parent company's products and the Standard marque generally has largely been ignored, except by owners. One of the club's aims is to change that, highlight the cars' qualities and give them the recognition they deserve.

We cater for every model of Standard, every coach built body on a Standard chassis and any vehicle made from Standard parts.

We cater for owners wherever they are in the world.

We are a non-profit making club run by a democratic committee elected at an AGM that takes place once a year.

We publish annual accounts so you can see all our income and expenditure.

There are thousands of pages, photographs and features here to help you identify your car and the site is expanding on a daily basis, thanks to your contributions.

We also provide an interactive Web forum, where members can ask questions of others and publish tips and offer help.

Members pay an annual subscription to benefit from our services.

These services include the following: a monthly magazine, three spares warehouses, spares remanufacturing service, technical,  repair and restoration advice, national and international groups, special insurance deals, this website and events and meetings.

We have recently added a new service whereby members qualify for discounts on a number of classic Car services and products.

We will gladly answer any question you have about a Standard Car, through this website. If you would like any other services it is necessary to join the club.

More information about our services and an application form are here

We hope that you can join us and help preserve this most famous marque.

All the Clubs Services are described under the links below.
