James Merrit writes to tell the members of his 1936 Standard 9, 4-door saloon.
It arrived with him as a Basket case. It had been painted with an aerosol in pine green.
It was a poor runner, now totally stripped down to the chassis for restoration.
James is presently reassembling the chassis and stripping the body paintwork to bare metal for a respray in the original grey colour.
I will publish more photos as the work progresses.
