Fun in the Sun 2022 - with The New Forest Group

The Group was founded in 2008 and has managed to survive despite Covid, members moving away and the increasing price of petrol. We have welcomed classic car owners to join in various shows etc.

Each year The Group has met every second Tuesday evening of the month at many Pubs, with a Christmas party each year.

We run Drive-it-Day annually in the South as well as the CLUB STAND at Beaulieu Auto Jumbles in May and September. Before Covid hit, we attended many annual shows as a group stand, even supporting Charities.

At Shepton Mallet shows we have supported the Club and Standard Rescue on many occasions.

We started the three-day South of England Gathering at Breamore which included outings, road runs and afternoon tea in Hampshire. The group has won two best stand trophies. Since covid, it has been only a one-day event.

This year it was a very hot day and during the day members sheltered under Alan’s igloo gazebo
