MG and Triumph Spares Day - Stoneleigh

The SMC took a stand at this annual one-day event, principally as a recruitment tool to attract new members. This year the Club was positioned in a brand new, huge, steel-framed marquee and there was another new innovation – there was heating throughout the show! No longer were we situated in freezing cold cow sheds!

The cars on display were the Vanguard Vignale of Don Szymanski, the Companion Estate of Shaun Russell and the Standard 10 brought along by Chris Muckian.

There really was a good attendance and lots of interest in the cars. Plus, a great chance to peruse the Autojumble stalls and make some vital purchases. Even better, news was the show closed at 3.00pm so there was the opportunity to be packed up and away before it got dark.

A worthwhile event, so why not promise yourself that you will attend next year?
