DO ONY ENTER BY EMAIL

Our mystery car this month is a pretty Standard two door Saloon. It is a factory drawing because no example of the car survives for me to photograph.

My question is in two parts:

·         What name did Standard use for this body?

·         What chassis is it mounted on?

The tiebreaker, if one is required is ·      In what years was it made?

Please send your entries by email to phil.homer@btinternet.com before the end of March.

The prize is a Voucher to value of £20 to be used in the Club’s online Shop.

The answer will be given in April, along with the winner’s name.

Result of the February SMC Prize Competition

The Mystery Car was the prototype SS100 Fixed Heah Coupé of 1938.

It did not go into production.

It qualifies for this competition by having an engine built by the Standard Motor Company.

The Winner was Club Member David Mileham, who will be send a Voucher Code worth £40 for use against any products in the WebShop

You can see everything that the Voucher can be used against by using this link www.standardmotor.club
