A fantastically sunny Saturday in July was the occasion to mark this Centenary.
The huge park has hundreds, maybe thousands of trees planted to honour past Coventry citizens, each tree has a plaque in front of it, with the person’s name.
A huge funfair and stalls from lots of local charities made a great attraction for the people of Coventry to enjoy.
A number of Classic Car Clubs were invited to attend including Standard, as a Coventry – based marque.
Only 5 Club Cars could make it, but they made an impressive line-up, never the less.
