This was a huge 2-day show and initial reports indicate an attendance of 2500 participants on Saturday.
As the title suggests, the majority were Triumphs and MGs's of all ages, but there was a small presence from your Club in a dedicated area.
Events included day-long exhibitions of the various ranges of cars in an arena, slalom racing, autojumble, spares dealers, historic displays and a range of refreshment and food stalls
The three cars representing the Standard Motor Club and Standard Register are illustrated.
They were the 1913 Model S Rhyl belonging to Len Barr, the 1937 Standard Flying 12 DHC of Phil and Lynda Homer and the 1957 Goldstar 8 of Chris Muckian.
