About Local Area Groups

The Standard Motor Club encourages the formation of Local Area Groups.

Local Area Groups are a central part of the life of the club and group activities vary widely to suit the needs of the club members in each area.

Some groups are highly social and attend many events each year representing the Standard Marque, while others are lower-key offering a chance to chat or help each other with restoration projects.

The Standard Motor Club holds a residential International Rally weekend every Summer which is complemented by local meetings.

The Standard Motor Club encourages members to use their cars, take them to local events and raise awareness of the marque.

A map showing the meeting points of the Standard Motor Club local area groups is shown.
